Mila Chic Hair Design was created out of a desire for a different type of salon experience. One where clients feel welcomed and included no matter their heritage, religion, hair type, or sexual orientation. We want all clients to feel loved, empowered and important when they visit our salon. Our team is passionate about staying up to date on the latest trends in colouring and cutting so it’s easy to see why Mila Chic is one of Brantford’s best salons. Clients travel from Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville and Mississauga for an appointment with our colour experts in balayage, platinum blonde, and babylight techniques.

Kamila Benhabib

Kamila founded Mila Chic Hair Design in 2011 from her basement with just a makeshift “station”, a mirror on the wall, and a sink. From there Kamila set out on her road to realize her dream of creating a truly different salon experience in her home town of Brantford. Over her 16 year career, Kamila has made it a point to learn as much as possible. As a stylist working in downtown Toronto she put her skills to work learning how to cut, colour and style all types of hair, from super straight to 4c curls. She volunteered her time and talent during Toronto Fashion week as well as many other fashion events and photoshoots. Kamila spent some time working on the education team for Kevin Murphy and even assisted Kevin himself during some events in Toronto. The experience of working with different people in this industry and learning from them is a value she has instilled as part of her salon culture
Katie Laing

Airlie McKenney

Airlie started at Mila Chic as a highschool co-op student and has been a part of our team since 2018. She had a clear passion for hair and attended Fanshawe College to complete her education and pursue her dream career. Airlie has made a big impact in her short time in this industry and is already known for creating beautiful blonde colours for her clients. She is very detail oriented and takes her time with each client to make sure that they leave the salon feeling confident and beautiful.
Rachel Ray

Rachel has always had a genuine passion for the hair industry and took the opportunity to go back to school to start a second career and hasn’t looked back! She has spent her 4 years behind the chair making clients feel refreshed and proud of themselves. Her balayage and colour skills speak for themselves with clients following her from London all the way to Brantford.
Taylor Hill
Hair Apprentice –
Taylor is a hair school graduate and has been in the industry for almost 2 years.
She was inspired to become a hairstylist after facing her own image issues and wanting to help others who are struggling to bring back their confidence.
Right now her love is colouring and highlighting, although she would love to learn many other skills like extensions, waxing and lashes in the future.
